I shot and created this commercial ad for Suquet, the furniture store in Yaletown which was published in "Vancouver Luxury Living" magazine.
Suquet is a Catalan word (language spoken in North Eastern part of Spain) and it's the name of a local traditional fish stew. Just like a stew the store combines a curated collection of various "ingredients", unique and "fresh" pieces of furniture and art from local artists but also from all over the world mixing them together for a unique "flavor".
The goal with the advertisement was not to showcase products per say but more to capture a warm cozy feeling of being home with a loved one, in a living space that is comfortable and inviting, which is not always the case with modern furniture!
In essence, homey and comforting like a warm bowl of suquet!
